NEW AGE ELIGIBILITIES FOR JUNIOR LEAGUE

Effective the Spring 2013 season, ALTA has lowered the minimum age for players to participate in the Junior Leagues.  A player may participate who will have "his or her 7th birthday during the calendar year in which he or she wishes to play."
 
***   TIE BREAKS   ***
ALTA has NOT changed its tie break format for sets.
We continue to play first to 7, by 2 -
switching sides every 6 points
