Need a Team? Need Some Players?

Are you a tennis or pickleball player without a team? Are you a captain in need of more teammates? Did you know the ALTA website offers a way for members to find teams and players?

While ALTA does not place members on rosters, we do have ways to help you find that perfect team in your area or those additional players you need to fill out your roster.

**On the home page of the website, under Players and Leagues, you will see “Find Players and Teams.” When you click that link, you will see a form to fill out to either put your name on a list for captains to see or your team on a list for players to see.

**Word of mouth is another great way to find teams and players. Speak up! Let your coaches, pros, and tennis directors know you are seeking a team or additional players.

**Sign up for lessons or drills at an area park or club! This is a wonderful way to meet other players at your level. Who knows? You might end up starting a brand new team in your area! We love new teams!

See you on the courts!

ALTA Documents

Need ALTA information? You're in the right place for rules, handbooks, guides and season packets that will answer questions and provide necessary instructions for playing ALTA. Document availability is role-based. If you are a captain or other team leader, you will have access to more information than a regular member to help you do your job. ALTA tennis follows the USTA Rules of Tennis found in Friend at Court. ALTA pickleball follows the USA Pickleball Official Rulebook.  You should also consult ALTA's rules for specific guidelines concerning league play and other ALTA-sponsored events. Those rules provide information on ALTA-specific regulations, such as default, forfeiture, retirement, scheduled match, sandbagging, inclement weather, rules specific to each league and the Junior Challenge Ladder.
